Cotopáxi Tour:
HIKE AND BIKE
Cotopaxi tour offers an exciting experience in the Cotopaxi National Park. Departure days are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The meeting points are Plaza Foch at 7:15 a.m. and the Plaza de San Elas at 7:30 a.m.
- Entrance and visit to the Cotopaxi National Park.
- Ascent by vehicle to the parking lot at 4,500 meters above sea level.
- Hike to the José Rivas Refuge at 4,800 meters above sea level.
- Hike to the Bajo Glacier at 5,100 meters above sea level.
- Return to the parking lot.
- Optional bicycle descent to the Timlopungo lagoon.
- Lunch included.
- Return to Quito.
The tour includes a bilingual guide (Spanish and English), authorized tourist transport, menu-type meals (lunch), bicycle and helmet, and the necessary permits to enter protected areas.
